Hard to find a kid (and even adult for that matter) that hasn't either had one of these or at least hopped in of their friends' Coupes at some point early in their life. And I was more than happy to pass along this nostalgic experience to one of my friend's kids for her second bday! She loved it and was able to pass it along to her two younger brothers that followed. This empowering little buggy lets the little drivers get behind the wheel of their own car just like their parents and feel in control as they steer around wherever their tiny legs will take them! The car is compact w/minimal parts to put together. It assembles quickly and conceals any screws/holes exceptionally well - making the aesthetic that much nicer as well as limiting any harder edges for a kid to hurt his/herself on. The plastic itself is as durable as ever but still w/a good "bounce," putting it up to the task of the beating the little rider may put it through while also minimizing the impact it has on walls/furniture/pedestrians. It's some of the most simple toys that have the best staying power and this does not disappoint!

We have had this car for 4 months now. One of the best toys we have ever bought for my 1.5 year old. It is not electrical so not noisy. We have play dates at our place often and all kids always want to play with this one. They specifically like that they can get in and close the door. Sometimes one sits in it while the others pushing it around. Keeps the kids busy for a long time, with no noise and no flashing light and ... Over all very happy with the purchase. It was a little harder to assemble comparing to the toys for kids around the same age though.

My nephew adored this car! Warning putting the car together was hell but seeing how much he loved it was well worth the work. Even with all the helpful videos they have putting this car together I still put the wrong bolts on the tires that were suppose to go on the top of the poll for the front wheels. I had to find the bolt cap at a local hardware shop otherwise going online it was like $15! Yikes. Anyways it took forever to put together and luckily I got it weeks before my nephews birthday. Be prepared for a horrible experience putting it together but your kiddos will really enjoy the product of your pain.

I have to admit I had my neighbor put this together for me. I have little patience these days. He said it really wasn't that bad. There were quite a few parts but if you followed the instructions (which men hate to do) it went together nicely. Right now I am pushing my 1 yr old granddaughter around in it but she does seem to like it a lot. She readily opens door and climbs in. I suspect in another month, we can take the floor board out and she will be getting around on her own.

I bought 2 of these for my twin grandsons, as I bought 1 for Christmas, and they fought over who got to sit in them. At age two, the boys mostly like to open the door and get in and then get out. The second car I purchased didn't have an indent for the door to seat into and my husband had to make a hole in the car to allow the door to stay in. This made the door a little difficult to open and close, but is working looser as time goes on. You'll definitely need and mallet to pound the hubs in place and a lot of patience to get the parts to fit together.

What's not to love about the Cozy Coupe? I love the floorboard addition - it makes it fun for a one-year-old who doesn't walk yet. My kids had 'the red car' and now my grandchild does too! It's a perfect gift for the right aged child. I see people have issues with the assembly - there are great directions and with a rubber hammer and a little 'shoving' some pieces in, it takes under 30 minutes. All larger toys are like this; it's worth it!

Years ago my grandsons had a cozy coupe. When my great grandaughter turned one this year, I bought her a cozy coupe for herself. Mercifully, I paid the extra money so it would arrive fully assembled. She loves it. She puts her stuffed animals in it and pushes them around. She sits inside (since she is too little to have figured out how to walk it around with her feet) and lets her parents push her around. She insists on opening the door, all by herself, to climb in, and gleefully honks the horn. A great gift!

This little item has now become a family tradition. I received my cozy coupe back in the late 80s for christmas and it was my favorite present. Now my niece is 1 and what perfect present than this little number. Installation was not as bad as some people made it sound, i actually thought it was quite ingenious is some ways, just the engineering in general, overall took me 20min or so. All worth it when I wheeled it in and when my niece saw it. It was the only present she got that she knew was for her and its been hard enough to keep her out of it! Little Tikes, keep up the fine work. American made.

Great product works and looks as described. Follow the instruction in order. I had to build the car after my wife put it together with out following the instructions. They are pretty straight forward. Do them in order and you will have no problems at all. You will need some small hand tools to completely build the car. The car also has a removal floorboard for small children who could slip through the flimsy one style bottom. Recommend that you use this for small children. The car also has a hand on the roof for and adult to be able to push the car or hold onto it.

Install Flash Player I have 5 kids under 5 and will most likely buy another one they love the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe 30th Anniversary Car so much! It has a bottom that comes out for kids that can push with their feet and then goes back in for 2 and under. The assembly took about 45 minutes to 1 hour and make sure you are putting the wheels on the right side as they are not fun to take off and we will probably have to order another 2 caps on top because they got a little dogged up switching them. We put this together 3 days ago and my kids are still super excited about playing with it. We received this product in compensation for our honest review.
