This is a book about people who throw themselves away; losing themselves in the world of people and things. It is written for those who wish to find themselves again.

If you come to this work without a background in philosophy, you will learn a great deal. If you come to it after pacing labyrinths in search of philosophical understanding, you will discover the keys of enlightenment. The doors of perception are opened for beginner and seasoned seeker alike.

Who are you and what are you thinking about? Do you know why you have been born? Are you in charge of your life? Are you an Individual?

Mind, body and world speak to each other constantly. Are you involved in their dialogue?

What is your connection with Nature?

What is your connection with Beauty?

Should Aesthetics be considered the highest and most important philosophy, above Metaphysics, Epistemology and Ethics, etc?

Michael Tsarion’s concept of “Mysteria” and our deep-set antipathy to Nature, provide us with intriguing and cogent explanations for age-old existential dilemmas. His radical theory on the origin of the ego is nothing less than a theory of pathology. Whether your interest in philosophical and psychological subjects is recent or long term, Michael’s analysis will enhance your understanding of yourself and the world you occupy.

From Introduction...

...Chapter One looks at the pros and cons of world philosophy. Have our world and minds improved due to the centuries-old questioning of existence and reality? Are we right to heed what others says about reality? Why are there so many antagonistic attitudes, beliefs and schools of thought? Is it because there is no single, all-encompassing answer to life’s mysteries, or because appropriate questions are not asked? Why are the answers to questions about existence so elusive? What are the differences between philosophy and psychology, reason and belief, mind and matter; and can we be certain about anything we see, think and feel? Will we ever solve the problems that beset us?

Chapter Two introduces a philosophical outlook I refer to as Objectionism. When taken seriously, this philosophy compels us to radically reevaluate what we know about consciousness and the process of philosophical investigation. I also introduce you to the basic tenets of Personalism. This philosophy has commonalities with Perspectivism, Relativism and Pragmatism, but goes beyond them, centering the Imperial Self, rather than the pseudo-self, at the heart of existence and reality.

Chapter Three deals with the problem of God’s existence and ongoing rivalry between believers and non-believers. What causes the schism between purveyors of religious dogma and advocates of atheism, materialist scientists and metaphysicians? What does each side believe, and what are the arguments used by one side to checkmate the other?..

Read and Learn

This is definitely a transformative book. The depth into which the author dives into human psychology and the height to which he rises with a new form of philosophy, based on history, shows how we as a civilization have been drawn into a control mechanism that turns us into "disciples", that is to say, agents or slaves of a false self, leading us to live a false life, based on the machinations of a system that only wants to bunch us together into groups and factions, which essentially makes us tools of our own enslavement. The book acts almost like a map of the way out of this predicament.

An amazing analysis of existential philosophy

An amazing analysis of existential philosophy. The content is comprehensive, and the language is very accessible. I'm not an avid or fast reader, but I couldn't set this book down, and finished it in three days, which is very rare for me. As a late 20's male, I found this book at the perfect time in my life. This book helps you deprogram from all of the social and parental influences, so you can accurately chart you individual course towards self knowledge, and identifying a personal destiny. Moreover, this work invigorated me to relish in the combat of modern society, so as to identify the enemy in myself and others. The book is very well organized and well sited, allowing the reader to continue one's own research through the classical sources. This book pulls your mind into the stars, while grounding you in the wisdom of the body. After reading, you will greet the day with a new perspective, ala Dasien. Read this book, become more human.

Food for Thought

Information is well presented and easy to absorb/comprehend and just plain fascinating. Thank you Mr Tsarion for that! I did come across a few typos, but I understand this is self-published. I would love to edit just because that is my nature. Please note: The typos did not affect the content. Just a slight distraction. Whether you choose to believe or not is a personal matter, but there is no denying the massive research, attention to detail and availability of (free) material this author brings to our awareness. Prolific only begins to describe.

Cutting edge philosopher!

Cutting edge material from a Master philosopher/Taoist. I would personally like to thank Michael for this masterpiece based on Taoist thought and existential psychology. Not only has this book opened my eyes to deeper levels of reality, as practitioner Traditional Chinese Medicine this book is critical for understanding the philosophical thought behind some of the great Taoist sages that have created our incredible healing system. Anyone who wants to honestly examine themselves needs to read yet again another great works from Mr Tsarion!!!!

What I loved most about the book is that it weaves psychology ...

I am currently reading this book for the second time and will likely read it a third. For a background, I have been absorbed in Nietzsche and Kant and consider myself a beginner student of their work. Michael quotes them and critiques them throughout his book and his perspective is mind opening to say the least. What I loved most about the book is that it weaves psychology and philosophy together so well. Secondly, I appreciate that Michael not only presents philosophical and psychological concepts but actually provides a perspective to view, digest and critique the work of the old philosophical masters. Very refreshing perspective in my opinion.

Incredible

This book is a gift to humanity, as is its author. There may never have been a greater need for its presence than now and I am awed and grateful to have read it. I shall read it many times over. An absolute fount of wisdom, hermetically sealed from the clutches of evil by its very nature. Thank you, Michael.

A must-read book for anyone studying the consciousness of society

This book was amazing and highly appreciated, it offers a supreme collection of quotes and insights from various philosophers, scientists, psychologists, etc. all relevant to exploring the Mysterium. Such a great balance of multiple perspectives, including the author's with his vast history research.

Excellent book

Reading this now, delves into much detail of psychology of modern man compared to his ancestors before the "Age of Catastrophe" - which was the Younger Dryas period after the end of the Ice Age. You can learn a great deal about yourself from this book. Tsarion hits a home run with this one. Thanks Mike!

Real truth.

This book opened my mind up to the realm of philosophy and revealed its true importance to everyone of us in this world today. It reveals the ultimate source of evil, showing that the responsibility is in our hands, even if there are world ruling tyrants working to perpetuating it. Michael explains how it is the weakness in the ego, that was created as the result of the cataclysm that destroid atlantis and lemuria 13,000 years ago, that is the true source of all the problems we face today. This book shows that its about time we faced the truth, the real truth, and recognise when we are creating a mysterium to cover it up. Only if we look to ourselves for the solution, not to religion or anything of the like, will we find the answers.

Nature

What stood out to me was the importance of Nature in the care of Self. I realized how, over time and the business of life, I allowed myself to be drawn away from Nature and how important it is to get back to it if I want to Not be a part of the herd.
